On June 16, 2010 we
acquired the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel in Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
This 25-story hotel, the largest hotel in Minnesota, is connected via skyway to the Minneapolis Convention Center next door. The hotel is located near the Minneapolis Financial District, the Metrodome (Minnesota Vikings), the Mall of America, Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, the Mississippi River Front, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Walker Art Museum, Minneapolis Lakes, and the Orpheum and State Theatres.
The hotel opened in 1992 and contains 821
rooms and 77,000 square feet of flexible meeting and
banquet space, including the largest hotel ballroom in
Minnesota.
The hotel features the new Skywater
Restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and
fitness center, 24-hour hotel business center, Executive
Level Lounge, private Concierge Services, and voicemail
and Wireless High-Speed Internet Access.
The hotel
is a Hilton-branded property and is managed by Hilton
Management LLC.
